Apple MacBook Air 13-inch M5 16GB/1TB — Silver (Refurbished)

A refurbished 13-inch MacBook Air with the M5 chip, 16GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD — the small Air for someone who keeps their whole photo and video library on the machine. Every unit crosses our 41-point bench before it is listed, and the cosmetic grade is defined on our published scale rather than left to an adjective.

The 1TB SSD is the reason to pick this one over the base Air, so it is written to and read back across its full capacity — storage tends to fail at the end nobody has touched. The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina panel is inspected on a mid-grey background, since grey shows pressure marks and backlight bleed that white hides. Every port is tested with a device actually plugged into it, the keyboard is typed key by key, and the hinge is worked through its range. macOS is erased and reinstalled, and we confirm the Mac is signed out of the previous owner’s Apple Account with Activation Lock off — a locked Mac is a paperweight. The serial number is printed on your invoice.
