HP 15 Core Ultra 5 125H 24GB/1TB (Refurbished)

A refurbished HP 15 with Intel’s Core Ultra 5 — a current-generation thin-and-light with an NPU, bought by people who want a machine that will still be supported in four years. The battery wear figure above was read with powercfg /batteryreport on this machine — design capacity against full charge capacity — not estimated from its age. The cosmetic grade is defined on our published scale rather than left to an adjective.

24GB of DDR5 is unusual at this size and it is the reason to choose this one, so both modules are tested under load rather than trusted. Every port is tested with a device actually plugged into it rather than looked at, the keyboard is typed key by key, the hinge is worked through its full range, and the screen is inspected on a mid-grey background — grey shows pressure marks and backlight bleed that white hides. Windows activation is confirmed as a genuine digital licence tied to the board, so it survives a reinstall.
